Mission and Vision

The mission of the Guidance and Psychological Counseling (GPC) program is: open to the changes our country needs in the face of social, cultural, economic and technological changes, productive, analytical and critical thinking, proactive, integrating national and universal values, adopting ethical principles, engaging in qualified scientific research and development activities. Our aim is to train psychological counselors who are committed to evidence-based and accountability. In this context, in addition to applications such as Area of ​​Interest, Social Transcript, Student R&D Adaptation, and community activities, Guidance and Psychological Counseling Master's and Doctorate Programs with Thesis, Preventive Guidance Services and Career Counseling Non-Thesis Distance Master's Programs are carried out.

The vision of the Guidance and Psychological  Counseling program: comprehend the 21st century paradigms of the profession; adopted a humanist and existential philosophy of life; pursue lifelong career development; gained ethical responsibility within the framework of social responsibility and profession; be able to use information and communication technologies effectively in their own personal and professional development as well as in guidance and psychological counseling services; adopted universal values ​​between cultures; education, health, social work, industry, etc. to train psychological counselors who can work in institutions.
